AI-Based Crack Detection System for Springs using MPI & Machine Vision
Development of an AI-based Crack Detection System for Springs using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Machine Vision. The project aims to design and deploy a dual-camera machine vision setup using UV fluorescence (365 nm excitation / 530 nm emission) to capture high-resolution images of spring surfaces during MPI inspection. The captured dataset will be used to train an AI model for automated, accurate, and repeatable crack detection.
